- ECOPETROL TANKER FACILITIES
- The Ecopetrol Marine Terminal "Nestor Pineda" is located about 2 miles north
of the refinery. The dock consists of an isolated loading platform, with dolphins on
either side and 1 mile into the bay.
- SERVICE AVAILABLE
- Any kind of bunkers by barges and/or trucks, fresh water, provisions and repair shops.
- AUTHORITIES CLEARENCE OF VESSELS
- Vessels are visited during following hours: 0800/1800 however clearence at different
times may be arranged with prior notice. Sundays and Holidays 0800/1200 hours.
- PRIVATE BERTHS:

- COLCLINKER BERTH
- This private berth belongs to a cement/coal group, and is very actively used for
exporting coal. Length of the berth is about 150 meters and 15 meters wide. Conveyor belt
loader runs along the quay over 75 meters. It has a water draft restriction of 36.5 meters
B.W., and an air draft restriction of 13.5 meters. Loading rate for coal is about 12,000
mt/day shinc and for clinker about 8,000 mt/day shinc.
- MUELLES EL BOSQUE
- This was the first completely private port society constituted over the new
privatization scheme of the state owned Colpuertos. This new facility is located inside
the bay and very close to the public terminal. this port is basically intended for
handling general cargo/container as well as roll on/roll off vessels. The maximum
draftalong the berth is 31 feet B.W. and may accomodate vessels up to 170 meters. This
port has available 2 shore cranes of 50 and 150 tons, which are able to be placed on top
of a concrete quay. There is also a gantry crane available.

- There are a few other private berths at the port of Cartagena. Information is available
